What is the Musivision Song Contest?

This contest is focused on internationally recognized songs—tracks that have made a significant impact across borders and reached a wide audience. To help define this, entries should have at least 25 million views on YouTube or 100 million streams across platforms. These benchmarks help us keep the spotlight on music that has achieved global reach. There are additional rules for songs that are new releases, but are by popular artists.

For those who want to highlight national favorites or lesser-known gems, we also host a separate contest specifically for songs that are culturally or regionally significant but may not have reached international audiences yet. Both contests are important in celebrating the richness and diversity of music worldwide—we just aim to give each the right stage.

Musivision Entry Rules

A song must meet ONE of these guidelines…

  • Over 25 million views on YouTube
  • Over 100 million streams on Spotify

However, if the song is a new release and has not reached these benchmarks yet, it can still enter the contest if the artist meets these TWO guidelines…

  • The artist of the song has over 2 million subscribers on YouTube
  • The artist of the song has over 50 million monthly listeners on Spotify

Additionally, the song must not have been in the contest before. Please see the list of previously used songs here under the “Musivision” tab.

Voting Rules

  • Each voter will get to award entries 12 points, 10 points, and 8-1 points.
  • Each voter can only vote once.
  • No user is associated or represents any specific song in this contest.

Generic Rules

  • Do NOT mention which song you have entered until the vote for the Grand Final has closed.
  • Do NOT beg people to vote for any of the songs you recommended for the contest. If someone does message you about who to vote, please take a screenshot and send the evidence to me (ItsRyanJambe) on Discord.
  • If necessary, we will disqualify (DQ) a song if we feel any rules have been broken.
