Happy New Year! 🎉

Today marks the beginning of a brand new year, and I want to start by wishing you all a Happy New Year and nothing but the best for 2026. The New Year is always a great time for reflection, and I wanted to share a few personal thoughts about where I hope this community is heading.

First and foremost, I hope this community continues to grow while maintaining the competitive but respectful environment that makes it special. I love seeing so many of you enjoy the different experiences we offer, and I hope that continues. If you’re here purely for the vibes and the people, that’s just as important too.

This year is going to be an interesting one. While I deeply enjoy this community and the experiences that receive most of my attention, I also want to challenge myself by prioritising a project that can reach beyond this server and connect with a wider audience, while still trying to maintain and future-proof the experiences many of you already love.

Below, I’ve split everything into separate sections so you can quickly find the experiences you’re most interested in and read about my plans for 2026.

Elimination Tower

Elimination Tower remains the most popular experience overall, yet it’s arguably one of the least played by members of this Discord community. Because of that, it tends to receive fewer updates, as I usually prioritise the experiences I know are most actively enjoyed here.

That said, Elimination Tower is due for a bit of a facelift. Some of the background systems, including scripting, could benefit from improvements to better support future updates. Time management (and occasionally getting hyper-focused on other projects) has definitely played a role here, but I do want to revisit it.

Current plans include partial rescripting and the introduction of a new alternative game mode. This mode would focus on speed and pacing, likely using a knockout-style format where players compete in minigames and a set number are eliminated each round until a winner is crowned. The goal is for a full game to last around 20 minutes or less.

Race Around The World

This is arguably the most popular experience within the Discord community. While the game is well-established, it could benefit from long-term maintenance updates, particularly to improve performance and reduce lag, something I know has been a recurring issue and will be a major focus throughout 2026.

There are also smaller bugs that appear from time to time, and those will continue to be addressed. Overall, 2026 may lean more toward maintenance rather than new legs, which I hope isn’t too disappointing.

That said, Abu Dhabi will be released at some point, along with 3–4 new Travel Passes throughout the year. I’d also love to host Race Around The World games with the community more frequently and, if possible, organise the Championships again.

The Snakes

It’s probably no secret that I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with this game. I enjoy the gameplay style, but the toxicity from a small group of players makes it incredibly challenging to want to continue updating it.

Despite having a lower player count than other experiences, The Snakes requires the most moderation time, which creates a significant imbalance. Because of this, I’ve had to seriously consider whether temporarily closing the game might be healthier, allowing me to focus more on development rather than constantly dealing with harassment and bullying.

To give some insight: there are currently over 100 reported chat messages awaiting review. At least half will likely result in bans (temporary or permanent), involving around 25 or more different users, with many more reports still to be reviewed.

If the game were to receive updates, the main focus would be:

  • Proper missions, rather than repeating house tasks
  • More customisation, such as room design options

I’ll be fully honest, I don’t think many people realise how close I’ve come to temporarily closing The Snakes. If that were to happen, it would not be permanent, but there would be no confirmed reopening date.

Draw 7

Draw 7 launched at the end of 2025 and was a fun, experimental project. I don’t anticipate many updates in 2026, but potential additions could include new card skins and possibly new cards or twists to further differentiate gameplay.

Sole Survivor

I know this is an experience many of you have been waiting to see updated, and that wait is likely going to continue. I’ve struggled with certain elements, not because they’re impossible, but because I tend to obsess over realism, sometimes at the expense of fun.

Changes to Roblox’s chat system have also made Survivor-style games more difficult, especially for players who are 21+ or choose not to verify their age. Implementing a proper quick chat system for a game like Survivor would be incredibly complex, so communication for certain age groups would become extremely challenging and possibly make the experience not as enjoyable.

I may still work on a Survivor-style experience, but it could move away from the traditional island setting while keeping the core format. Think private island resorts, hotels, or even space stations. None of this is confirmed, but I miss having creative freedom rather than feeling locked into recreating the show exactly.

Ding Dong Dash and The Great Obby Race

Both of these experiences are unlikely to receive updates in 2026. While they’re underrated, I simply don’t have time to maintain everything, and some projects need to be deprioritised.

Musivision / Midvision / Worldivision

Musivision and Worldivision will return in 2026. Midvision will not. While enjoyable, having too many song contests affected engagement and voting turnout by the time we reached Worldivision.

Hosted Quiz and Trivia Games on Saturdays

DecQ has been around since 2020, and while I still enjoy hosting it, it’s a very time-intensive experience. Some weeks involve hours of prep for relatively low turnout, which has made me question whether it’s sustainable. Writing questions and creating new game shows for a larger crowd is not as straightforward as you might think!

It’s not cancelled, but I’m reassessing whether my time might be better spent on other hosted experiences that generate more engagement.

Conclusion

I love the experiences I’ve created, but I’m also realising I can’t do everything alone. While I get incredible help from the very talented Clash and Bill, we’re still a small team with limited resources, and burnout is very real.

I don’t necessarily want to scale things down, but I do think it’s healthier for us to prioritise and focus on something that can grow beyond this community, while trying to still support what already exists here.

Thank you all for your continued support, patience, and passion.
Here’s to 2026!
